Security & privacy

Messages are encrypted in your browser. Your private keys are held in your account’s private storage. Media is public. The service has not undergone an independent security audit.

Message content is encrypted; participant identifiers and dates remain visible in shared storage. Private keys are accessible only to the signed-in account.

Do not reset your keys: doing so would make your old messages unreadable.

Data storage

Data is saved in the built-in key-value store. A managed relational database requires Pro; you can also connect Supabase for free from the Database panel.

Free plan: 1 GB of media per app, 200 files, 50 MB per file. Shared storage limits the whole app to 600 reads and 180 writes per minute. These limits are not suitable for a large-scale social network.

Open the published link in your browser on Android, iPhone, tablet or PC. You can add it to your home screen.

Contact the owner

This form emails your message and contact details to the Snap World owner. Never send passwords or sign-in codes.
